D.C. Baptists are a people focused on the mission of Christ. We have ten churches among us made up of immigrants from Myanmar These friends provide an open door to work among three people groups—the Chins, the Kachins and the Karens. These funds will seek to help Baptists (pastors, leaders and seminary students) by strengthening  their ministries though teaching in the areas of Agriculture, Practical Theology and Social Work. Some of the funds may also be used to strengthen teaching efforts in the refugee camps among the Kachin people of Northern Burma.
