CELEBRATE

For 150 years, the DC Baptist Convention has brought churches together to share the love of Christ, serve our neighbors, and strengthen one another in faith. As we celebrate this milestone, we give thanks to God for the generations whose prayers, dedication, and faithful service have shaped our story and for the opportunities God continues to place before us. This anniversary is a celebration for our entire DCBC family, with upcoming worship gatherings, service opportunities, musical celebrations, artistic expressions, and meaningful moments of fellowship across generations. Whether you have been part of DCBC for decades or are just getting to know us, we warmly invite you to join us as we honor our past, celebrate our present, and build our future together. Click the photo in the banner above to explore the many ways you and your church can participate, and follow the event links for details and opportunities to sign up.

You can also share in the celebration by visiting our official 150th Anniversary Store for commemorative apparel and merchandise that reflect this special chapter in our life together. Be sure to get the official 150th Anniversary T-shirt, featuring a meaningful surprise on the back: the names of all current DCBC churches - a beautiful reminder of the congregations that make up our Convention and our shared calling to serve Christ together. We are excited about all that lies ahead and look forward to celebrating with you! Return to this page often as we add event information, announcements, and new opportunities to get involved. There is a place for you in this celebration, and we pray that this anniversary will deepen our fellowship, renew our commitment to ministry, and inspire us to carry God’s love into the next chapter of our shared story.
