Our hands are open. As your partner in ministry and co-laborer in the gospel, the D.C. Baptist Convention connects you to opportunities, resources, and services that multiply your ministry efforts. And we can do this because month after month, year after year, generation after generation, your hands have been open.  You have given to us in a myriad of ways.

Money.  A touchy subject in many churches, and finding the balance between giving and greed has been a problem from the beginning with believers.  See Ananias and Sapphira.  Unfortunately, not much has changed since then.  Fighting to not be possessed by what possesses us, we are encouraged to remember the hands of Christ, who gave freely—not just until it hurt but until he died.  As believers, we are encouraged to give in ways that empower others while enabling us to die to the selves, the tightfisted soul that will not give an inch or a cent—no matter the cause.
