Christian Education position. Commonwealth Baptist Church in Alexandria, VA is currently seeking a seminary student for a part-time Christian Education position. Responsibilities would primarily be with youth, but might also include other education/spiritual formation/adult small group work as well depending upon skills and interest.  Time requirement would be fifteen (15) hours per week with a salary of $1000/month. Music Ministry Assistant. National Baptist Memorial Church (NBMC) in Washington, D.C. is looking for a part-time Music Ministry Assistant. This is a regular weekly position in which the Assistant will work with the Pastor and Music Director to help develop the music programs, work with the choirs, serve as the worship leader for the congregation and assist in special services and events. The successful applicant will have a high level of skills on the keyboard (acoustic and electronic), guitar or other instrument;, experience leading choirs; special interest and knowledge of contemporary music; and, the ability to work in a team setting. Minister of Music. Dayspring Community Church is prayerfully seeking a Minister of Music (MOM), who loves the Lord and loves God’s people, to lead worship and to play for and grow a 6-member praise team that sings primarily contemporary gospel music, along with some hymns. Services are lively, spirit-filled and interactive and are held Sundays at 10 a.m. The MOM will play three Sundays/month (and 5th Sundays) with a weekly rehearsal prior to each service. Participation in occasional special services is also expected. The MOM will have the opportunity to develop other choirs/praise teams and creatively to develop musical opportunities in the church.
