making a difference through their time and talent. Join us as we serve Christ

There's
a LOT of help needed out there...
Johenning Baptist Community Center
The Johenning Baptist Community Center seeks volunteers for
the following:
-
Adult men and women as mentors for youth computer program
-
Persons to support the food baskets ministry
-
Coaches for various sporting programs, at different
times during the year
-
Mentors for after-school programs, all ages from 7-18
-
Anna's Kids Kitchen (a feeding ministry)

Capital Resort Outreach Serving the Savior
(C.R.O.S.S. Ministries)
Ministry on the National Mall
C.R.O.S.S
seeks volunteers who are willing to reach out the those persons who visit the
National Mall by sharing the Lord Jesus through the giving of cups of cold water
and tourist information. The National Mall could be one of the largest
"harvesting fields" in the Washington DC area because of the many people from
around the world who come to visit. C.R.O.S.S provides Family entertainment through
the use of puppets, choirs, juggling, etc.

D.C. Baptist Convention Building
Volunteers are needed at the D. C. Baptist Convention Building to help as
receptionists and to assist in special mailings, copying and envelope
packing for special events. Volunteers are needed one day per week to assist
from 9:00am - 5:00pm Monday through Friday. High school students seeking to
fulfill community service hours are invited to help as well as adults.

Calvary Baptist Church
Calvary Baptist Church needs volunteers for their after-school care.
Hours of operation are between 3:30-6:30pm on Tuesday-Friday. Contact 202.347.8355 ext.30.
Work Crews
Calvary Baptist Church
Oak Hill Youth Center
Work includes construction, painting, general cleanup projects and the
like. Weekend crews are preferred. Contact 202-347-8355 ext. 30.
Shelters and Food Kitchen Beacon House S.O.M.E. (So Others May Eat) Martha's Kitchen
Services include general food service and clean-up between 9:00am and
